Old Town Framing, the Novella.

Prologue
It was a dark and stormy night in Astoria when Joe and Charlotte pulled up in their 1972 VW van in front of a dark and stormy Victorian on Bond St.  Lewis and Clark, John Jacob Astor, Captain Flavel, and Joe and Charlotte all recognized the potential of the North Coast, and Astoria in particular.  All they owned was in their van but they carried some big dreams in their hearts.
Joe Murray and Charlotte Bruhn moved to Astoria and started Old Town Framing Co. almost 20 years ago.  They fell in love with the impoverished river town and saw a need in the community for a business in custom picture framing.  With guts and skills in framing, and eyes for beautiful things, they start a small business that has flourished for the last 19 years, providing services to Astoria and the surrounding communities.
Times were hard on the North Coast but Old Town Framing prevailed through it all, expanding to a new, larger location in the center of town soon after opening.  Throughout all the years, OTF focused on providing their customers with instant gratification in the form of beautifully framed art pieces.  Providing quality framing at reasonable prices has always been the standard at the shop.
The spirit of Joe and Charlotte's dedication to the satisfaction of the customer and novel approach to retail sales will continue for many years but change is in the wind...
